Just Another Super Sunday

Just Another Super Sunday

Funny, the guy looks like my neighbor.  They’re having a Super Bowl Party right now, I can hear them cheering as I type this.

Sports and Entertainment - just another distraction to keep the people’s minds off what really matters.

Who should I unfollow?

I’ve hit the Why 2K limit for the number of Twitter members I can follow before I also reach 2,000 Followers.

I’m working on a Twitter Follower Adder, but until I get that going, I’m going to have to unfollow Twitter celebs and other folks who aren’t following me, so I can follow real people who are following me and really do want to connect.

Not to be rude…   but who would you “unfollow” so you can make room to follow new people following you?

How Many Twitter Followers Do You Have?

Emergency Neighborhood Alert!!

This is an Emergency Neighborhood Alert!

Can you hear the sirens?

There’s no hiding from the worsening global economic crisis and we all need to take quick and drastic personal action to turn the tide and avoid an unrecoverable disaster.

People all over the world are shocked, traumatized and depressed after watching their life savings, their 401-k retirement plan continue to plummet in value along with their home and property.  Nearly everyone has now been personally affected by either losing their job or know a friend who have lost theirs.

And we’re still in the  the beginning stages.

Most honest economist are forecasting the economy to continue to get worse, much worse and it looks like there’s no foreseeable end in sight.

It really doesn’t matter what region of the world you’re talking about, there’s no hiding place…  the world financial markets are in a terrible state of disarray.

The people responsible for this mess should all go to jail, but aside from one “patsy”, no one else is being investigated.

Folks, it’s time to wake up to the reality.   Everything that you’ve ever worked for, everything that you hold dear, everything that see you around you and your community, it’s all about to be taken away from you.

There’s a real emergency here, can you hear the alarms ringing yet?  The proportions of this emergency is off the scale.  Humanity has never seen anything like this on a global proportions.  The entire earth is in trouble.

In the global community that we find ourselves in, with people connecting worldwide through the medium of the Internet, everybody is just one email, instant message, Skype call, Twitter away.  In a very real sense, we truly are neighbors, living in an online neighborhood with like-minded individuals.

Now more than ever, it’s important for neighbors to form communities, pockets of “sanctuaries” for safety.  These communities can start online and work it’s way into the offline “real” world.

That’s why we’ve created EmergencyNeighborhoodAlert.com to address those needs. We’ve designed an online community where people connect and help others learn the economic survival skills we all need in these tough economic times.

Because it all comes back to the economic crisis.  First and foremost, we all have to take care of our financial situation for ourselves and our families, and extend help to our neighbors, friends and co-workers.

How?  By monetizing our online activities!

Just think of all the time people spend online doing, surfing the internet, going to social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace and others.  If you can harness all of your online activies  into financially “productive use” of your time (i.e., you’re making money) by leveraging your social connections (friends, fans and followers) into a monetized social referring system, then you can beat this economic crisis.

The beauty of a system like this is that it’s truly people helping people, and that’s exactly the kind of system we need today.

For people who want to be  financially prepared and willing to help others do the same, there is no better time than the present.  Social networking is about to take it’s next evolutionary step forward and go full force into social referring, whereby, it will be the individuals who will profit from their own activities, instead of the large corporations.

The Road Forks Aheads

I believe that as the financial  situation gradually worsen, there are two paths that humanity can take.  We can degenerate and turn into a “Road Warrior” culture of dog-eat-dog, or we can elevate ourselves and rise to our highest and best good while helping those around us prepare for the times ahead.

No doubt that society will splinter into both paths simultaneously, but it’s up to you to choose which way to go.
